Currently hiring on behalf of our client, a high-volume commercial debt collection company with a strong focus on Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) litigation. This firm manages a large portfolio of structured commercial matters and is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support its pleadings and motion practice operation.

This role sits within a fast-paced litigation environment and is ideal for a paralegal who is comfortable producing consistent, high-quality pleadings at scale while working within established workflows and templates.

About the Role

The Senior Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys across a broad portfolio of MCA and commercial debt collection cases. The position is hands-on and drafting-heavy, with a strong emphasis on motion practice, default-related filings, and pleadings preparation.

This is an in-office, full-time role, well suited for someone coming from a collections law firm, MCA litigation shop, or other high-volume commercial litigation environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Drafting and preparing litigation pleadings and motion papers, including:
    • Summonses and Complaints
    • Notices of Motion, Affirmations, Affidavits, and supporting Exhibits
    • Default motions and related filings
  • Assembling, formatting, and finalizing motion papers using standardized templates and firm procedures
  • Supporting attorneys with ongoing motion practice across multiple MCA matters
  • Working within defined workflows to ensure all pleadings are accurate, compliant, and timely
  • Managing a high volume of matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Direct experience drafting pleadings and motion papers
    (MCA or commercial debt collection experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with civil litigation procedures
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple deadlines
  • Excellent drafting, formatting, and document production skills
  • College degree required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience at a commercial debt collection firm or MCA-focused company
  • Exposure to high-volume litigation operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60-75k per year (commensurate with experience), OT pay available as well
